This sums up the Eastbound trip from Los Angeles to Reston between 10 July and 18 Aug 2013. It included my final volunteer days for the year at Mono Lake, a National Scenic Area, last stop of the year at Lake Tahoe, visits to 12 National Parks, 6 other National sites, my third annual writers conference in Taos, time with Wendy & Mike in OH and David in KY, another stop at Oxmoor Acura in Louisville, an end-to-end traverse of both the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive, a lot of cute black bear shots and one helluva case of poison ivy.  All told a little over 8200 miles start to finish.
