The aspect of this view I like the most – aside from the setting sun reflecting off the mansion – is the crepe myrtle. It’s one of the largest I’ve ever run across and even though I was only able to get a portion of it in the shot it still adds to the feel of warmth and lends a distinct coloration to the scene. When we walked out to the front lawn I was all about shooting the sunset. But as has happened myriad times in my travels it’s only when I turn around and look behind me that I find the real gem.
This is one of the most amazing views of Belle Grove Plantation! I have taken this same shot before, but you have captured this view with so much more!
