An Evangeline Parish Bayou

Bayou is another word for creek or stream or tributary but just as Guiseppe Verde sounds more appealing than Joe Green, it is a description that captures the imagination and stirs romantic juices – until the mosquitoes get you.

  1. No, didn’t make BB. Most of my visits were driven by the search for family records and none pertained to that spot. I do have it on my list for the next trip though. As well as Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
