The Oracle Building in Reston replaced a nice stand of trees about a
decade ago. I didn’t care for that. I thought trees much more
valuable. But unlike some communities, Reston has a good growth plan.
It has made room for trees and commerce to coexist and prosper. In the
Fall the smell of leaf mold is palpable. And the people who work at
Oracle get to enjoy that along with the rest of us.
